Brilliant restaurant, one I visit regularly. Try the Lamb Satkora - it's a dish which, I gather, is quite rare outside Bangladesh.

Had a good meal here and service was excellent. The food was tasty and hot, even the plates in which it was served was hot as well which I like.Enjoyed our evening very much.

We visited on a flying visit to Bangor and just wanted to stop walking when we found the Bangor Tandoori. Wonderful food, lovely staff. A good range of dishes and really pleased to see Paneer on the menu. Highly recommended.

Booked a table in April 2021 for my son's 21st birthday 29th August 2021. They offered to decorate table area & provide the cake, which I thought was great as would be visiting the zip world that day & would have found it difficult to...get there before hand with cake etc. I phoned a few hours before to check about cake etc and they confirmed everything was taken care of. The first thing that angered me was when the cab driver said you had to take your own drinks to the restaurant and yet no one had mentioned this when I booked and bearing in mind we're not locals, live roughly 6 hours away from Wales. Then once seated I was then pulled to one side and told they had candles but no cake, I was absolutely livid, as booked 4 months in advance and to top it off, the waitress wore a smile across her face the whole time, so with this, we left the restaurant, never to return. DISGUSTING RESTAURANT AND RUDE STAFF. They even had the nerve to tell me that the person I booked with, was no longer working there, so what kind of a booking system do they have, clearly they don't have one!! Thankfully we found a lovely restaurant around the corner - Royal Tandoori, food was fabulous😋, they also had a bar, result😅 and the staff were friendly, couldn't ask for better.More

Such a friendly restaurant. The waiter Declan was such fun and enjoyed chatting with us. The food was not greasy and very flavoursome.

Having accidentally booked this restaurant as google suggested it as being further into Snowdonia, we thought we'd better honour the booking and came with no particular expectations. However, we were more than delighted. The service was great, but the food was awesome. Our kids loved...the Korma and CTM offerings, and my Madras is one of the best I have ever had (and I've had a few). I would recommend this gem to anyone in the area (and worth a bit of a drive too). Only (very minor) downside is they didn't take card payments which I'm not sure if it was temporary or normal. Either way - very minor. Shame they don't deliver to Stamford!More

Went here as a second choice whilst passing through Bangor. The service was slow but they were busy. They don’t serve alcohol and don’t take card payments, this is fine as there’s a shop opposite with a cash machine. The food was nice and tasty...if a little salty. Portions were very big, so big we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of veg in with the meat too. The downside is the place is quite dated and like a curry house of the 90s but this might be a Bangor thing as the town itself looks like Beirut.More

I can't remember when I had a curry as good as this. Everything we ordered was beautiful. Normally I have a favourite dish when we are sharing but this was an exception. Service was good. Definitely would recommend but cash only payment. Don't let that...put you off though. There's a cash machine opposite and the food is well worth it!More
