What a find ! Stopped here for lunch while walking the North Wales Pilgrim's Way . We had the broccoli and parsnip soup which was delicious . Staff were very friendly and we loved the unusual decor and vintage feel of the cafe . Bit pricey but it was quality .

Today's journey into Bangor had one main goal, to return to KYFFIN Vegetarian Restaurant. Along the main street, up from the clock tower. If your have never considered vegetarian food before, let the eating experience you will discover at Kyffin be a landmark. Their food is not only well prepared and healthy. It is imaginative. The surroundings are modest &... More

Can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review actually because I come most days for at least a coffee. Very relaxing atmosphere, Jo and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly and I'd consider them friends. Best coffee in town. Always a vegan choice on the menu. Everything is fresh and healthy. Often when you eat... More

Kyffin is my favourite place to have lunch in Bangor, or indeed anywhere else! It's delicious home cooked vegetarian food that is packed with flavour and healthiness. The staff are always so helpful and friendly, and the relaxed, peaceful atmosphere makes this cafe a haven of calm. The choice of loose leaf teas is impressive, and the cake choice includes... More

I love this place. Cozy, great coffee, amazing food. All vegetarian, all fresh. It's hidden away, cute, and just rather nice and peaceful. Soft jazz and world music plays during the daytime. I didn't expect Bangor to have a place like this, but I'm so glad it does. Can be a little expensive if you go all out, but for... More

Popped in for a light lunch late on a Saturday afternoon and found the restaurant to be a wonderful place to sit and relax (newspapers provided) and eat from a varied and healthy selection of home-cooked food. So often disappointed at the 'take it or leave it' afterthought vegetarians are faced with, I was delighted with the menu at Kyffin... More

Lovely staff. Popped in for lunch and a coffee - jewel like displays of salads which we had with a mushroom and tarragon tart. It couldn't have been nicer. Great coffee.

had lunch with my boyfriend, i had the quiche, he had the soup. The portions were huge!!! and all good stuff! It was a shame that nobody spoke welsh there, as kyffin was a famous welsh artist, but a great lunch never the less.
