A group of us booked a table previous to meeting up at the Boonta Too Thai restaurant in Abergavenny. I have to say the service was very good and the menu was varied with plenty of choice. We were able to take our own alcohol but glasses were provided. We thoroughly enjoyed the food served and will definitely visit again... More

I've been here many times and it's always a joy to visit again. Thoroughly authentic food, same high standard of ingredients, same beautifully cooked and presented dishes. In my opinion, this is the best Thai restaurant I've visited outside Bankok and would give most of those in Bankok a run for their money! I love the cod with ginger and... More

This is such a quirky place, maybe not that appealing in terms of kerb appeal, but luckily it was booked by one of our party who had been before and we all had a fabulous evening. The food was amazing and the BYO made it such a reasonable night out. I would definitely recommend this experience.

A lovely atmosphere in this quaint little restaurant in Cross Street. It reminded us of being on holiday, transported to a far flung place, enhanced by the lovely lady in traditional dress who was front of house. The food we felt was a little anglicised. We preferred the starters, hot Tom Yum soup with large prawns and delicate chilli, lemongrass,... More

Very much enjoyed my prawn tom yum soup which (correctly) had a good amount of heat, but not too much. Main course was good too. I would return if in the area.

You wouldn't easily find this restaurant so we were lucky that it was recommended by another restaurant that didn't have room for us. The staff are friendly and always make sure you know in advance that they don't serve alcohol - but you can bring your own. Before I visited this restaurant, I didn't think I particularly liked Thai food... More

The food is very good; I couldn't see Penang on the menu but the waitress agreed to asking the chef to make one, which was very tasty. Every other dish we had was fantastic too. The restaurant hasn't got a alcohol license but there is an off license down stairs. The deco needs a little updating but other than that... More

Best thing was a fishcake starter which seemed homemade, with lovely coconut and lemongrass tastes. Mains more patchy - red curry excellent, pad dishes a bit bland, lacking sauce and bite. Nice presentation, and BYOB always fine by me, but for over £13 for a main, came away feeling slightly let down.

Rude staff here, not worth going if one is going to be insulted. Sorry I cannot tell you about the food as I walked out,
