This fish cake was served with a tartare sauce. The salad was minus any dressing. Chips were minus sauce. So I had to return to the server to ask for dressing and sauce. It wasn't available where you collect cutlery. I must say it annoys me because I love HOT food. If you have to queue to ask for them... More

As Waitrose supermarkets go this one is no different . It's always busy and has a great wine and alcohol selection . Their facility to carry the scanner and scan the items one wants is helpful There's a petrol pump too

Not an extensive menu, but what they do, they do well! I always go for the chicken and goats cheese flat bread. My daughter enjoys the lasagne. Both are really very good. My wife had the pastrami and Emmental toastie, which she says is better than the Starbucks bagel version. Sandwiches and cakes are also available. Once you've been served... More

Nice little cafe, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The one gentleman behind the counter was friendly with all the customers in the que. Great cup of Tea, Coffee and two good cakes. £6.60. So it's not the normal high price you can get at Waitrose. All the available tables were clean, and ready to be used. Would definitely... More

Visited this store to buy an expensive bottle of whisky for avery special birthday present. I was served by the rudest assistant, Ive ever come across. She threw the bottle of whiskey down the checkout counter damaging the box, when I pointed this out to her she grudgingly asked an assistant to get another, which was also damaged. At forty pounds... I come to Abergavenny on business once a month and always stop off at Waitrose for some shopping and a bite to eat before my journey back to the Midlands. It was a hot day yesterday (15/08/16) and chose one of their Quinoa salads with prawns and a delicious french dressing. The salad was clearly freshly prepared. It consisted of... More
