Our Belle coachs tour from Lowestoft called into Bettsw-coed to for our lunch stop. Although this cafe was busy and admits to being short staffed we were provided with excellent self service lunch time snacks of coffee flap jack beef and mushroom pie wth salad and chips. The country style table and chairs are very comfortable and appealing the decor... More

Nice place and what looked like good food. However having queued for a few minutes we were told the kitchen was closed and only the deli options were available. Would have been nice to know this before queuing. Had a microwaved pie which was nice enough. Staff member handing out cutlery was touching face and mouth. Not very appetizing! Standard... More

We found the Alpine cafe by chance and so glad we did. It was very busy on a Saturday of easter weekend but we still managed to get a table for our group of 7. I absolutely loved how the cafe was dedicated to the conservation of wildlife and nature! In addition the food was really great! I would recommend... More

Spending a day in Betws y Coed, we spotted this restaurant which stood out above others that we'd looked at. We had a delicious lunch there and after doing more sight seeing made it back to this excellent restaurant for afternoon tea (& one of their wonderful meringues!) Try it.....you won't be disappointed.

Recently visited here with my husband and young son. Staff were very welcoming and immediately brought a high chair over to us. Menu has a good selection, full breakfast was excellent and a lovely cup of tea too. The interior is very quirky with plenty of little touches to catch your eye, I especially liked the chandelier made out of... More

The Alpine Coffee Shop is a really smart cafe with an attractive and interesting interior. There is a decent menu with reasonable prices. We shared a burger which was excellent; a meaty burger served on a good quality bread roll with good dressing and salad and real chips. It was delicious and, to be honest, large enough for two. The... More

Strolling through the village hoping to come across a small cafe for some breakfast and spotted the Alpine Coffee Shop. Was not expecting such a quirky spot in Betsw y coed. Cooked breakfast was awesome as was the latte. The cakes, meringues and flapjacks looked incredible but we couldn't eat that much food!

The whole concept of this place is amazing with great coffee, cakes and a wide selection of teas. You can't help but feel inspired in the Alpine Coffee Shop by what they stand for and the charity work that goes on behind the scenes. Love this place ❤️❤️
