After reading the glowing reviews of this cafe at the cathedral, we timed our visit to the church so we could include lunch. Let me just say, then, that I fully expected the meal to be good, just didn't expect it to be not THIS...More

In my pursuit of weekend relaxation following a working week driving all over the U.K. i like nothing better than to get the motorcycle out and drive over the Bristol Channel into wonderful Wales. Apart from the unbeatable scenery right on my doorstep, I'm drawn...More

Booked a table for Sunday lunch today. Went with two people who live in Brecon. It was to sample local luxuries for the visitor! What a surprise to find such a thriving hive of hospitality and fantastic value for money. Very busy but were attentive...More

Stopped for tea just before closing time (at 5 p.m.) and also the next day before a wedding. Nice seating area, both inside and out, in a peaceful environment opposite the cathedral, and within the grounds. Good selections of tea, coffee, and cold drinks. The...More

This is a great place to stop for a cup of tea or a nice lunch if you're visiting Brecon Cathedral. The food is handmade and tastes delicious plus when it says it comes with salad it comes with a real salad, not some limp...More

Ordered lunch for 3 people - didn't require drinks, as not long had a coffee elsewhere, but the staff provided a large glass bottle full of water and 3 glasses for us. Lots of food to choose from. We sat outside looking onto the Cathedral-...More

Visited the tearooms around 10am midweek. Very quiet, we sat outside and enjoyed the view of the cathedral. Staff very polite and pleasant. Prices pretty good £6.50 for small breakfast, good cooked hot food and tea. Would come here again.

Sorry, we have a very small kitchen and as we don't have a fryer chips are not possible. We do try to have fish on the menu on a Friday - Salmon Wellington, Baked Hake, Fish Pie, Sea Bass Provencale etc.
