Great staff, good service, restaurant was full by the time at 2 clock on a Tuesday. Which is always a good sign. We had home made soup and the Lamb Cawl, soup or broth, to our non Welsh visitors. It was fabulous, very full when we left. Great selection of home made cakes. So we will definitely be calling back... More

Popped in for a lunchtime sandwich and cuppa. A vibrant atmosphere with good service. Enjoyed the steak panini and my wife enjoyed her cream tea. Good value, would go back.

Called in for a cuppa. The meals being served looked good but our coffee was bland and lacked body. Very friendly staff.

We called in for lunch, attracted by the fact that is was already looking busy so clearly a popular choice. Lots to choose from on the menu plus specials on chalkboards. Very reasonably priced and hearty portions - especially the pannetone! A great team of servers too.

Popped in here today for lunch. I had smoked salmon and cream cheese on granary sandwich. Hubby had lamb cawl. My sandwich came with crisps and side salad! Sandwich was stuffed full of cheese and the most gorgeous salmon. Had I been at home, I would probably have left some, but didn't want to appear not to enjoy it so... More

What a lovely find while we were having a family holiday. Nipped to the shops and ended up in here. Me my husband and 3 children, happily welcomed onto a large table. Table service. Vegetable soup (even better than my mums!) husband had bacon and Brie panini and the kids cheese toastie, pizza and jacket potato. All delicious and home... More
