We visited for dinner on Friday night as part of a special offer. The restaurant was quite quiet but it was nice to be able to talk to each other. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the food. The menu was small but a little different. Can highly recommend the lamb brioche starter and the mackerel starter. Side dishes are... More

I normally don't write much about places in Belfast but having just returned home from Easter Sunday lunch at Malmaison Thought I'd put pen to paper (well, fingers to keypad). I have eaten in the Malmaison Brasserie on many occasions and it never lets me down but today was extra special. On arrival at the restaurant there was a chef... More

The brasserie (as mentioned in my overall hotel review) offers a great selection of food at both breakfast and dinner. The dinner menu frequently changes to align with the seasons and the local produce available. Definitely worth a visit.

What a lovely afternoon tea I had with my two granddaughters. The food was beautiful and so different from the usual cream buns and sandwiches ! Mike who served us was so helpful....nothing was too much bother for him. He is a real asset to Malmaison....

I had dinner here with my mum for a special occasion, the venue is gorgeous and the staff were lovely but the food was terrible. It was presented so poorly, it was tasteless and I wouldn't recommend the burger unless you like a plate of soggy food. My mum had a steak which was chewy and tough. Neither of us... More

Unfortunately the service was terrible and they were not even busy ! Half an hour to bring us our drinks. We asked the waitress and her response was sharp stating that they were making them. Not impressed and disappointed.

Came to Malmaison Belfast on the St patrick's weekend, I was quite happy, the hotel in general is very good and was relatively cheap. The bar is good with quite good variety of beers and also the restaurant is good. The only con is that the hotel is really noisy, you could here very well inside your room when the... More

A wonderful choice of gluten free options . A picture paints a thousand words so I'm including plenty. Taste lived up to my expectations. Breakfast options varied not just your typical mixed grill. Eggs Benedict delicious. Pork Belly yummy and cheese board with quince jelly accompaniment to die for. A vey satisfied lady.

Description
Set in an imposing historic building on Belfast’s central Victoria Street, Malmaison is an ultra contemporary, ultra chic, urban retreat. The team behind Malmaison know that hotels aren’t just a place for sleeping, which is why a lot of thought and bags of style have gone in to the resident Brasserie, a hot spot in its own right. With its modernist feel the dining room has hints of 30s deco in its attractive black and red interior. Curved booths and luxurious upholstery are joined by sleek wood and low lighting while service is friendly yet unobtrusive. Two menus – one the simple brasserie menu, the other home grown and local – celebrate the best of Ireland’s ingredients while offering food which appeals to all palates.
