Good tasty fish and chips at a reasonable price and cherry service. Tea, bread and butter and peas complete the meal, along with "chippy" vinegar. Seating is in little boxes with church pews utilised to a good effect. Not the Ritz but right up my street.

This place is by far the best place for the best fish n chips ever. And I'm not lying! Try their scallops, they should have these on the mainland as these are scrumptious, indeed. I would live in Belfast just for this place if I didn't have responsibilities as a carer. Don't be alarmed by the many people that come... More

We went for breakfast. The breakfast itself was fairly average, but the coffee was awful. It was instant coffee, weak and already milked. The tea wasn't much better. They had no toilets for customers, and suggested we use the public toilets 300 feet away. Save yourself the Disappointment and money, go somewhere else for breakfast.

Always have a romanticised view of this chippy as I grew up when it was at its best. It went really down hill but starting to get better.

Food is nice but will never ever order from again because it is notorious for the service being disgraceful. I've been hung up on when placing orders, and overcharged. When asking for difference in money it was thrown at me across the counter. If I was the owner I would seriously restaff the place because the food is great!

Beatties has seriously deteriorated I had scampi which was terrible with tiny little prawns in over cooked horrible batter, certainly did not look or taste like scampi. Chips under done and mushy peas awful - I will never eat from Cavehill outlet again. What has happened, Beatties used to be best in the City. I will stick with the Avenue... More

Called in because a parking spot became available right outside.. Certainly was delighted with my Cod and mushy peas . Piping hot and served with a smile . 6 old time cubicles give this cafe the old fashioned chippy appeal .. Loved my first visit here ... Will definitely return ... 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
