We were visiting Belfast and saw the end of a football game through the window of Ronnie Drews so decided to have a beer or two. A drunken local took great pleasure in creeping us out with a story on the history of the pub...More

When I got caught in the rain after visiting Georges Market (recommended) I dropped into Ronnie Drews just down from the market. The cigarette butts on the ground and the overflowing ashtrays outside the pub should have been a warning sign. But as it was pouring rain...More

I popped in here for a quick lunch while working in Belfast recently. I thought the food was quite nice - not too pricey and the staff were very polite too! Nice to see Ronnie Drew in a place other than Dublin.

Arrived too late for Sunday roast, had fish and chips. Not as good as in St. George's market. Decor is scruffy and banal. Service is friendly. Vegetarians stay away, very limited choice for you.

Went here for lunch recently but didn't actually get anything to eat! There was no oil for the fryers so anything on the menu that remotely involved chips was off which didn't leave a lot of choice.

Visited this place a few days ago as we didn't fancy the cuisine served in St George's market. Glad we did as it was hot, plentiful and very easy on the tastebuds. If visiting the market and feeling peckish, this is the ideal place to...More
