Beautiful meal, vegetarian option was delicious, a real taste of summer! Burger was lovely and succulent. Friendly and helpful staff, would recommend for a child free venue. Will definitely be returning. A hidden gem 😀👍

Well hello "Mrs Lisa McGarel"------------You are just the ticket from our perspective here at "Bob's" in that the veggie folk in the "Norn Iron" are on the march re the psyche of food offerings in some eating establishments, that said matters are improving re "the veggies" being a little bit better catered for as opposed to a few years ago.... Myself, some friends and family ate at Bob Stewarts on a mid week evening in March. Food was average all round, we ordered a selection of mains and all were mediocre. We have eaten at Bobs in the past and the quality of the food has fallen significantly. Add to this, a manager / owner who tried (unsuccessfully) to remove... More

This was my dad's local for many years so a great place to revisit for sentimental reasons. The bar and restaurant are definitely not for families or for visitors wishing to take children. The signage is clearly anti-children so it's not even worth considering trying to take in kids below drinking age. Nice atmosphere for adult company, oldie worldly!

Hi ya "Clive M" Not so much in recent times but certainly when the present owners reopened "Bob Stewarts" in May 1993 after a major make over or "Wee Geordies" as it was referred to by some say roughly from 1970 or there abouts to 1991 (Geordie was "Auld Bob's" nephew) when it closed for a couple of years. Just home from another great dinner at Bob Stewart's! Their chargrilled steaks never fail. I had the sirloin that was cooked to perfection as per usual (with pepper sauce but the steak is best on its own it's that flavoursome). For starter there was a special of garlic crab claws tonight, 5 star. Plenty of meat on each claw with... More

ROBERT STEWARTS SPIRIT GROCERS is located on a narrow country road that threads its way out of the leafy glades of south Belfast via the Upper Malone precinct. The road continues onwards in the general direction to the town of Lisburn which in recent years was decreed a CITY. The actual premises is a primarily two zone affair.A public bar of which no decent pub should be devoid of. This coupled to a nooks and crannies lounge bar handsomely ajoined with a slightly more formal dinning facility called the company room.
