Had lunch here last week, ordered the chicken pie - not a real pie - but absolutely delicious! Friends had the smoked fish fish cake and they loved it too. Service was good and a nice selection of drinks as well. Would definitely go again.

If you are looking for a welcoming pub featuring friendly staff, music on nightly basis and an energetic feel this is the place. Allegedly this is a "non profit" public house. This made our decision to walk through the front door very easy as we...More

We ate here at lunchtime in late August. The food was good, service excellent, and overall an enjoyable afternoon. It's a much better bar in the evening but that doesn't take anything away from the pleasant overall atmosphere. Well recommended.

Came here our first night in Ireland, in Belfast for a few drinks, after seeing the reviews. Lived up to expectations. No frills place, with good beer, good service, and the band that was playing was terrific.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Lovely homemade broth with crusty bread and the most de...licious fruit crumble. Excellent, friendly service even though it was busy and a very relaxed atmosphere.

Very good restaurant where you can eat typical Irish food; prices not so high (you can eat and get full with 15 pounds); kind waiters; nice atmosphere. I warmly suggest it.

We visited 3 different pubs and this was the worst. The red head behind the bar was ornery and mean. Finished our pint and let immediately.

A changing menu, with great local food . Price , quantity and quality all superb. The choice of wines/ beers/ ciders is also great with emphasis on local brewers. Bottles or draft. It is quiet too. Decent music and NO TV. I'd say it's one...More
