I foned up the same morning I wanted to take mum out a surprise afternoon tea and after checking with the kitchen they said this would not be a problem. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and attentive. My brother dropped in for a catch up and to help us with the feast in front of us... More

Nice food, good service and nice surroundings. More expensive but fitting for hotel. Couldn't fault it 😃

I attended a dinner arranged for my twin sons' fortieth birthday. There were thirty two guests in total and a section of the restaurant had been reserved for our exclusive use. At first all went well. We were received in the bar where the waiter who had been assigned to our group was attentive and efficient: drink orders were taken... More

Ate here in February 2017 as part of our room package. The menu had plenty of options and the food was of really high quality, presented beautifully and extremely tasty.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel . The room was lovely and comfortable . We actually got upgraded to a suite due to our shower leaking . I found the staff extremely helpful . One of the concierges went out of his way to help my husband and I retrace family ties and point us in the right... More

We stayed at the Fitzwilliam Hotel while in town and it was so great! Just fun boutique hotel with a clean and sleek ambiance. The restaurant was very good, was able to accommodate us for last minute reservation for 3. The food was very good, the service as GREAT!

We were staying at the hotel and had an all day meeting, so we ate here. The Christmas lunch was delicious, and the service was great, however I didn't like the fact there are no windows so it feels a little soulless. I would eat here again for work, but not with friends or family.

If your looking to spend four hours on your dinner with the rudest staff who obviously did not want to be there, then this is for you. Did not see one happy face in the restaurant, staff or patrons. £90 per person for very average food to which most had been prepared prior and placed in jars to which our... More

We were shown to our table and promptly given a delicious glass of mulled wine each. We ordered drinks and decided on our choices of main courses. Out came an amuse bouche of tomato consumé which was divine - full of flavour and so moreish. A starter of crab, salmon and wheaten then arrived accompanied by another plate of beetroot... More
