nearly every week I go into seasalt but yesterday was a final test! can they get it wrong again? I love the seasalt - love the vibe - love the busy-ness of the place. Found this cafe on TripAdvisor when we decided we wanted an alternative to the usual spot we went to in Newcastle, and we were not disappointed! Cosy cafe with great little atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, great service and an extremely tasty breakfast. We had the small fry and the breakfast burrito both were fab but I personally recommend the... More

Our meal was fantastic, I had squid to start which was delicious, then fish for main course which was beautiful and we all shared a huge slice of delicious cheesecake and a selection of cheese. The restaurant was cosy and inviting, the service was prompt and friendly and the food portions were generous and delicious. A really lovely experience that... More

I am familiar with the cafe but did not know they currently open for dinner on friday and saturday nights. We just popped in and received a warm welcome and were promptly... More

Best brunch we have eaten in a long time. Avocado was beyond excellent - and just that bit different from served elsewhere! Fabulous service, location and value. What a great find.

Nice Cafe in the Town Centre. Great Coffee. Great Views of the promenade and the Irish Sea. (minus point for fake Maple Syrup)

anytime we find ourselves in Newcastle for a day trip, we go to Sea Salt for breakfast. We have never been disappointed and there is a wide selection of options. Breakfast is so filling that we have never tried lunch!

The Se Salt is under new management. We tried their evening meal a few weekends ago. The food was excellent and well priced. There is no licence so it is bring your own wine. Good food, keenly priced with pleasant staff equals an enyable meal

Wow what a place a little find. Amazing venue and views. The food something to suit everyone's taste and pocket. I have to say the cleanest tastiest flavored fry ever and the scone to die for. Overlooking Newcastle’s picturesque sea front, Sea Salt offers new flavours & old favourites. Moreover, we take great pride in serving specialist coffees.

We are passionate about quality; our coffee and food come from the best local suppliers we can find and are prepared with care. Before opening we did a lot of research to choose our house blend, a deliciously well-rounded coffee, and we also host a ‘Coffee of the Month’ for those who like to experience new and distinctive tastes. And let’s not forget the food! Our all day brunch menu boasts lots of flavour and has something to satisfy all appetites.
