The menu seemed quite nice. Unfortunately both meals were rather dull, and not wonderful. The waitress who initially seated us was helpful and nice to talk too. Unfortunately she left and we found the next waitress, and the person in charge, were very stand-offish, towards...More

I visited Howies in Aberdeen for the first time for lunch with my sister. We received an impeccable service and the food was very tasty and fresh. Especially the bread was incredible as well as the mussels. I will definitely be back soon.

Visited Howies Saturday 31 March 2018 with friends for the early evening dinner menu. Having read the many wonderful reviews I was looking forward to my visit. I arrived earlier than planned as allowed for the current bus strike. On arrival at Howies at 5.15pm,...More

I booked the private room at Howies for my 30th Birthday Meal. The staff were very accommodating leading up to the event with Menu changes etc. The meal itself was fantastic and already cant wait to return soon. Thank you for a great experience.

We ate at Howies during a short stay. The locally sourced food was fantastic, from the smoked pigeon breast to the cauliflower risotto to the cheese board. The service was great and we were made very welcome. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely meal for my 40th birthday at Howies. I had a fillet steak which was stunning. My daughter had fish and chips. The only thing that id say was that the batter on the fish should have been crispy. Instead, she found it...More

Had a good lunch here. Service was great and the menu utilised the fresh fish available from around Scotland. Seating wasn't cramped either which we have found is common in city restaurants. Had a wide gin selection too.

We went to Howies with an Itison voucher as our past experiences there have been good. Again the service and environment were of a high standard. However, what I would like to take issue with is the separate Itison menus we were provided with. We...More

I'm sorry. I do not know the answer to that as I have not dined there with children. They do not advertise a Children's Menu.

About 10 mins at an average speed as it's not far away. Up Holburn Street onto Union Street then left up Chapel Street and it's halfway up on the right hand side.
