Fantastic service and great food. What more could you want? Besides that you get a beautiful and historical location. We were seated quickly and served quickly though quite busy.

Went for a visit with family at the weekend. My soup was cold on arriving at the table, so I returned to the counter to ask if they could heat it a little. The waitress was quite brittle with me and there was no apology....More

Four of us all had soup, not just any soup but beautiful, creamy, tasty, Cullen skink. Delicious. Best soup I've tasted served with a slice of fresh bread. Lovely cup of tea as well, but the soup......mmmmmmm.

Located on the ground floor, you order from the counter and then find a table. The staff deliver your meal when ready. Both meals were tasty and served piping hot. Excellent cup of tea and scone for dessert.

We decided to pop in for afternoon tea after our tour of the castle. The scones were large and the accompanying jam was delicious. The castle was a spectacular backdrop and I would highly recommend a stroll around the beautiful grounds

Went in for afternoon tea and it was delicious! Sandwiches were great, my favorite was the ham with banana chutney, unusual but very nice. Scones were big and perfect, and cakes were amazing! Had such a big selection and so many we had to take...More

Had lunch here after having a tour inside the castle and before walking round the grounds. We both ordered a Brie sandwich which came on a plate filled with salad, coleslaw, crisps, almost a meal in itself.
