By far the nicest steak I've had in any restaurant. 10/10, cooked perfectly. We came here for our staff night out. The 2 servers on, Katelyn & Ross had a full restaurant, mostly big parties but yet were still so attentive. The service was fantastic...and the atmosphere was so chilled out. Staff here are absolute professionals. I am so excited to return here again!!More

Just back from The Old Inn after the most delicious fillet steak. I can say every course of or meal cannot be faulted. The service was excellent and staff friendly and efficient. Love the fact dogs were allowed.

Our first time here and as nearly all the reviews we had read said the food and atmosphere was exceptional. I had the T Bone and my wife had the rump, both were cooked to perfection. I would say my steak was probably one of...the best steaks I have ever eaten in a restaurant.More

We dined at The Old Inn a couple of times whilst staying at Storm House (a 5min walk away) and had great meals on both visits. The menu is very simple (basically its primarily several different cuts of steak although there are a couple of...other dishes if meat isn't your thing such as fish and chips). We tried both the rib eye as well as the filet and the steaks were excellent - great taste, very tender and served with a healthy portion of fries / salad. On our fist visit we did order starters and loved the mussels & mackerel rillette but gave them a miss second time as we had struggled to finish our mains. The wine list isn't extensive but we tried both the Tempranillo (loved it) and the Janare (good). Special mention to both Katelyn & Ross - friendly, helpful and great to chat to - just all round excellent service. Its a shame that The Old Inn isn't several hundred miles closer to home as we would definitely be regular diners :-)More

Great food (incredible chips!) Well priced. Would have preferred to hear my company speaking although unfortunately the music was way too loud, and lowering volume request to staff member was met with imperceptible change. Perhaps he couldn't hear me.

Not 100% sure but don’t remember the doorways being too narrow or there being steps. Sure if you give them a call they could clarify Cheers
