My wife and I went here for an afternoon snack and I thought it was excellent. Best coffee and cake I've had in years.

As recommended by the owner of Bogey Doyles (a must-visit if you need anything repairing), this discreet restaurant is worth a call for good down-to-earth food - it was a very tasty and worthwhile visit. Not expensive, well patronised, and the friendly staff were ready to help and advise on what to have. Quiet (no distracting "background" music) and cosey,... More

Pleasant cafe/restaurant opposite the George. I had a 'Fish Tea Special' and a nice piece of haddock it was.

We were made to feel really welcome here and had a lovely lunch. The kids steak and kidney pie was massive, we had two burgers with haggis on and I had a cheese and haggis toasted with lentil soup. All were fantastic - soup especially!- and really set us up well for the day. Price was surprisingly cheap for such... More

Lovely afternoon tea, good scones with clotted cream (would have liked tastier jam), a nice place with a quirky local feel off the Main Street!

Food on offer was very bland, there was only white bread on offer, the carrot and coriander soup tasted as it beef stock cubes had been used in the making. We came away disappointed with our experience

Didn't get to eat here this time as it was closed. I also noticed it was up for sale. The last time we ate here the food and service was average.

Tucked away in the tiny town of Inveraray this is a little gem. As you walk in you are greeted by a lovely and friendly host. Uber friendly. Seated there is a great menu. Prices are great. Quality of food is sumptuous. Menue is varied! A must visit.

Do not just stick to the high street, walk up the side streets and you may just stumble across little gems like this. You walk down a wooden staircase to a tightly packed seating area. The food offered on the menu is just the tip of the iceberg. I ordered the fish and chips and it was a delight but... More
