This is a must for anyone in Oban; a little expensive but a nice treat now and again; there is a lovely paved area outside so lovely to sit and watch the world go by and enjoy the great views over the harbour, life doesn’t...More

They have such a choice of flavours, its hard to choose which one but I've tried the lemon and also the salted caramel both of which were just gorgeous.

A small pink fronted ice cream shop on the front of Oban belies what awaits you inside. There are hand-made ice creams too numerous to mention though I must say the rum&raisin, mango and the blueberry are three of the best of the type I've...More

The Pokey Hat is an Ice cream parlour selling delicious homemade Italian Ice Creams. The ice creams are made fresh daily, in house on the premises, we offer a wide range of flavours which change regularly at reasonable prices and in the summer months we are open from 10am till 10pm 7 days a week. In reply to a lot of tourist questions, yes our shop did belong to Princess Diana's mother Frances Shand Kydd at one time where she ran a successful card and gift shop.
