Went for dinner on a special offer deal which included a glass of Prosecco. Three courses, reasonable choice, decent portions and extremely tasty food, well presented. The staff were efficient and friendly. Couldn't fault it

Don't get me wrong, this isn't the cheapest place to eat, but if you're prepared to pay, you'll be delighted with the quality and the restaurant staff, breakfast is wonderful!!

The Sunday Brunch experience at Malmaison and Hotel Du Vin used to be excellent, however this is no longer the case so avoid where possible. We waited 20 mins to be seated, even although we had booked in advance. There was nobody around in the...More

Definitely not enough choices or options for vegans. What I ordered was also covered in oil and was just generally not pleasant. My family however enjoyed their meals.

food was excellent with a good choice both in the restaurant and the bar. One problem however was every time the door opened a blast of cold air hit the room. Other than that however no problems

The only good part of this was the sticky toffee pudding which was from the a la carte menu. We bought an itison voucher which gave you 2 courses from the set menu and a glass of wine. The set menu is probably the most...More

Description
In the lively, bohemian Port of Leith, Malmaison Brasserie reigns supreme as a superlative place to meet and eat. The highly chic Art Nouveau French brasserie has sleek, stylish decor and actual port views. The staff are passionate about food, wine and service, and the dining room is lit with that brasserie buzz. Malmaison Executive Chef, Roy Brett has overall direction. Inspiration is taken from great 'French brasserie-style dishes' and further enhanced with a unique contemporary twist. Dishes include chargrilled ribeye with cafe de paris butter and fine beans and salmon fishcake with parsley sauce and buttered spinach. For those of you with a sweet tooth, be sure to try the tarte tartin with crme Chantilly.
