Hubby and I went to the Wildfire for dinner based on a recommendation of the Concierge in our hotel.....EXCELLENT RECOMMENDATION! We did not have a reservation but we arrived early enough that the waitress was able to squeeze us in. Every food item we ordered...More

Chose this restaurant while visiting Edinburgh after reading reviews about their Fisherman’s Pie. I wasn’t disappointed, it was very yummy even though it had more potatoes than I would have liked. A small side salad rounded out the meal. My husband had a steak, fries...More

This restaurant is quite small. We were 8 and took up about a quarter of the place. But we soon found out that bigger isn´t always better. We had different starters and main courses and everyone of us was happy. The service was friendly and...More

We have been tryin to eat at the restaurant for a couple of years but it has always been too busy. Because its quite a small restaurant (no more than 30 covers) I would highly recommend booking. We were lucky enough to get a table...More

Lovely relaxing meal with friends, waiting staff excellent, attentive without being intrusive. Food delicious 😋. Our group had Cullen Skink, Mussels, Steak, Fish Pie, Prawns. All perfect. Too full to try any dessert

We ate dinner there, both the Cullen Skink and the Fish pie were tasty, rich and extremely tasty. Reasonable selection of wines and everything is good value. Recommend reserving a table as the restaurant is small and gets busy.

Myself, my partner and her parents ate here on Sunday 6th May. The two waitresses were absolutely fantastic and how they manage to keep up the level of service is beyond me, given how busy this place is. It’s my second visit and the standards...More

You have to visit this place. The restaurant is small but I like that. It gives a more intimate atmosphere. The staff were totally amazing. So on top of their game. They kind of made the evening for me. The food is perfect. We both...More

Delightful relaxed atmosphere. Everything we ordered was as it was described in the menu and tasted superb. My wife is a great cook so often disappointed and she commented that she was eating lamb stew, mashed spud and beans but that the taste was amazing....More

it's a lovely friendly place with great food but it's small and there's nothing to interest children. I personally wouldn't take any young children there.
