Good authentic restaurant with very helpful staff who stayed open despite some of our party being delayed. Fajitas, enchiladas, refried beans, etc, all excellent.

If you have been to Venezuela and loved the food (which we have) and you are in Edinburgh (which we are) then you will love this place. Pictures don't do it justice

Food is wonderful. Think the (usually boring) Mexican which is everywhere and give it taste and character. And extremely good value. Staff was charming and attentative. Will certainly go back. One caveat: if you order a Margherita be sure you specify salted or sugared glasses....More

I've been here a few times and it never disappoints. Lovely South American food in a cosy setting. The food is lovely with some really interesting choices. Friendly South American staff too. A from favourite in Stockbridge.

We were recently in Edinburgh for a long weekend and were staying around the corner from the Sabor Criollo. I am usually suspicious of South American restaurants outside of South America. They are almost universally poor, but we decided to give it a try anyway....More

We ate here with friends and had a lovely time and a delicious meal. The staff were helpful in dealing with our range of dietary requirements. We all really enjoyed the food and will definitely return - keep up the good work!!

We actually ended up here by accident, as we thought it was on Tastecard, but it turns out that there is another restaurant of the same name elsewhere in Edinburgh! We decided to stay anyway and I'm glad we did. They offer 2 courses for...More

It was my husband's birthday and we found this nice little restaurant while on a trip to Edinburgh. Within 3 hours of dining at Sabor I experienced violent vomiting and felt very ill the following day. 24 hours later my husband had diarrhoea and vomiting...More

Stockbridge & Dean Village
Just downhill of New Town and attractively straddling
a river near the elegant Royal Botanic Garden, it’s
small wonder that Stockbridge became one of the city’s
first hip neighbourhoods. It’s now one of Edinburgh’s
most desirable, though many bohemian touches have

They have a small menu and I don't recall even the mention of gluten.
