My boyfriend and I had a lovely experience at Tapa. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The food was to die for and the wine choice matched our dishes. We will definitely be visiting the restaurant again.

1st time here and wot a wee gem this place is. Hidden away from the main road but so worth it. We had the shared platter bottle of wine and pudding with coffee. Well worth a look and the food was execellent

Can't fault the service, the staff were very lovely. Portions are very measly and expensive, you won't leave feeling very full unless your purse is full!

We went for lunch to Tapa yesterday ( 11th August ) it's quite a journey from Stirling, but well worth the trip. The food was excellent, as was the service from the staff. We could find no fault with any of the dishes we tried....More

It's my daughter's regular eating place - lucky her, and only 5 minutes walk away. We went early doors for an evening meal recently. We were greeted by the lovely melodic notes played from a Spanish guitar upon our arrival, and shown to our table....More

Live guitar (professionally played), superb wine and sherry recommendations, staff that allow you to relax, dishes that were cooked and prepared to exceptional quality. I could not find a negative. So, so impressed.

My friend and I have been to many tapas restaurants and we unfortunately found this one to be our least favourite. It is expensive for what you get. My friend ordered Jamon y Queso, which is £9.95 so we expected it to be a decent...More

We've been here many times, each a treat. This July, we have visited twice with US family and once with Scottish family, and all were bowled over by the food, the service and the ambiance. Just top on all levels. My elderly American aunt and...More

The food is good and the service is always friendly but Tapa has become more and more fancy over the years and I'm not sure for the better. On our last visit we were laboriously explained the menu despite saying we'd eaten there lots and...More

No matter where you are in Spain, a moments walk from the main tourist traps will almost always immerse you in the hustle and bustle of real Spanish life- busy bars and restaurants full of animated discussions conducted over fresh, homemade food. With this in mind, we selected our home of 19 Shore Place as the perfect venue to recreate this wonderful ambiance in Edinburgh.
