We enjoyed a wonderful lunch with fresh flavors - had one of the best ever noodle meals in this restaurant! Young and nice staff and a very trendy interior! This place can be warmly recommended for eating and drinks!

Popped in here whilst on a wee pub crawl with the wife. What a gem of a place, we had drinks and a bite to eat, loved it. Next time we in Edinburgh will definitely going back.

Visited with two friends from work, one of which recommended this place, on a Saturday afternoon. No table booked but very easily got seated. The overall environment is very pleasant with friendly staff. It is rather quirky in some aspects but all works together well....More

The menu truly is eclectic: tasty soup, small snacks, sharing platters, scrumptious desserts. And the imaginative cocktails and a judiciously compiled wine list offer perfect accompaniments...More

We went for a great Sunday brunch: the menu was very imaginative and the food was superb - even my vegan daughter managed to find something she really enjoyed.

My son and I visited Treacle today and had such a great time. The food is great (we’re Vegans) and the service was superb. Great vibe going on. Well done Treacle!!!!!!

Broughton & Calton
Lying where grandiose New Town townhouses give way to

have long been transitional neighbourhoods with a

even if polished pubs, hip bistros, smart delis and
art galleries all speak of affluent good taste. The
