It felt like an authenic bistro night out. Small busy restaurant. Unassuming and just simply good. Party of 6, not a single thing to complain about. Had a lovely evening.

This small restaurant had excellent food and offered a wide variety of choices. We loved everything. For starters we had mussels, corn soup, venison terrine. Main courses were lamb rump, code and risotto. The lamb was tender and perfectly cooked.

Good atmosphere and friendly service. They even seated our large group of 6 before opening. Nice selection of dishes and wines.

The food was excellent, reasonably priced, and sizably portioned. A pleasant, relaxed atmosphere provided a lively, yet quiet meal with family. This would be a great place for a date or a meal with an old friend.

The restaurant is quite small and rather busy 9booking recommended), although the team does their best to receive guests. The food is very good: fresh and well done. Corn soup, mussels, lamb, duck - i can recommend almost everything on the menu as we came...More

Fantastic food and reasonably priced, not a massive menu choice but enough for everyone to find something they liked. Would definitely visit again.

I always enjoy visiting this restaurant. The food is very good and a nice wine list. Service is very helpful and efficient. Reasonably priced and a good atmosphere. I will continue to return whenever I am in Edinburgh

New Town
Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town,
until after dark when strappy dresses come out to
play. This is the city’s central business district
with its smaller offices, clothes boutiques, and many
of the city’s flashiest restaurants and ritziest
clubs. The architecture along roads like George Street
helps give it a swank and formal feel: it’s a planned
