Booked in for a quick bite with the wife before a show. Received a friendly welcome despite it being very busy, staff were extremely attentive. The food was delicious and the cocktails were superb. Great service, I would highly recommend.

The Villager has been recommended several times on the Ediburgh forum it is a great place for food and drinks. I did visit it during my last visit to Edinburgh and really want to add my review.
