Popped in for lunch with Mum and a friend this week and opted for the sweet potato, chickpea, spinach & coconut curry. Wow! Soooo tasty. Would have this every day with pleasure. Mum had her first ever Cullen Skink and was bowled over! Owner Anna welcomed my new lurcher puppy in and we all felt very welcome. Will be returning... More

Had lunch here at the end of a lovely walk along the Water of Leith. The food is fresh and delicious - we had veggie curry and burgers. Cakes heavenly. Would highly recommend.

Ana and Mikel along with their team including Annabelle, produce wonderful food, fresh and cooked to order and served by friendly staff in a relaxed and friendly yet professional manner. The food is consistently very good, the Cullen skink is one of the best I have had. I recently enjoyed the mussels from The Shetlands, superb quality! The food here... More

We've been there several times - always full, always excellent - and great value. Whether for a hot chocolate and pastry - or a lunch - this cafe has always delivered something special. Worth seeking out and visiting.

I stumbled across this place on the way to the Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh and I'm very pleased I did! I had the 3 course lunch special - goats cheese crostini, gnocchi and apple tart. Went for a late lunch today. Small but lovely menu with a good selection of specials on the specials board. Food prepared freshly large portion and very tasty. Nice wine selection. Great coffees to finish off with. Leave space for the carrot cake. The brekkie menu looks fab to. Will be back on our next visit north

Third time of visiting with family one breakfast, one brunch and one lunch. As a cafe bistro, I just can't rate this place highly enough- small, family orientated cafe, the staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble, the food is excellent, and pricing very reasonable. Specials are excellent and kids portions are more than generous. Excellent value, I wish... More

I organised a private evening event here for a birthday celebration. The owners Ana and Mickael could not have been more helpful or friendly and they made it super easy to get everything together for it. The food was excellent and everyone really enjoyed what they had and very reasonably priced for the high quality of food that was served.... More
