Been here twice now and both times I have enjoyed the meal. Let's be honest, the decor in this place is old and dated but I find that part of the charm as it retains that old-school asian restaurant feel. Anyways, the food here is...More

It was a cold rainy night in Edinburgh, and as tourists from India, we didn't know that most pubs/restaurants close their kitchen around 8-8:30pm. After being unsuccessful in finding dinner at 3 places, my husband and I finally spotted Yocoko. We walked in, and were...More

Busy place, took my son for lunch. We were served pre-fried stuff within 4 minutes, clearly from a refrigerator which was slopped on a plate and served absolutely stone cold. Given the lack of care, I couldn't trust this place to deal in any way...More

No frills, no bells and whistles. Cheap food, large portions. Some dishes were better than others. Noodles were good- though vegetables were too al dente for my liking. Also avoid the soft drinks they come from a large bottle meaning they are flat.

We always wanted to try food here & decided to go on a Saturday evening. We ordered Singapore noodles with tofu+chicken, Malaysian noodles & chicken satay. The chicken satay was served with some worst tasting sauce & the chicken itself was very dry & chewy....More

Big portions, tasty food, fast service, value for money, decoration was traditional or exotic. We were lucky that it was open at 22:30 in the night (others were closed)

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its

visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
