The Royal Theatre Bar was right next to the hotel we were staying in so decided to give it a try. We had a tasty dinner of fish and chips. Good service. Went early so it was not crowded.

Good selection of pub classics - fish and chips, pies etc. Gets very busy so recommend arriving early for dinner. Friendly efficient waiting service.
