While through at the Fringe we stopped off to relax for a bit with a pint. This is a lovely bar, which serves what looked like a great menu. We had eaten not long before so unfortunately didn't order any food from here... we were...More

After a day touring the city on the City bus tour, we stepped into Maggie's for dinner. Richard had the Red MacGregor ale and I had the Edinburgh gin. He went for the haggis and I decided to have the lamb shank. The presentation of...More

Stopped in to dodge the Edinburgh rain and ended up staying for lunch. The lamb shank and fish and chips were fantastic. The menu is pretty diverse and they have a well-stocked bar with plenty of ales and whiskeys. Locals and tourists were enjoying themselves....More

Me and the OH had just arrived in Edinburgh and just wanted a quick bite to eat. Stopped by here, nice pub with an interesting story to the name. Good food, we just had the fish cake starter with a side of fries as only...More

visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
