Local cafe with great food selection. Breakfasts are fab as are the sandwiches. Real clincher is the cake selection. OMG! Home baking at its finest with some interesting combinations of flavours. A must visit if you are down Newhaven way!

Came here in our last morning in Scotland. The breakfast was very tasty. I ordered the porridge for me, scottish breakfast for my husband and pink cake for our daughter. )) Everything was exellent: reasonable prices and good service.

This was a surprise find in a fairly industrial area. Cool wee cafe with a vintage feel. Lovely pea and pesto soup and fantastic selection of home bakes. Well worth a visit.

A wonderful little cafe staff really welcoming and if you have the full breakfast then don't think you could manage to eat another thing all day one of the best in the city and really quircky surroundings.

We used to go to the Haven frequently a couple of years ago, and because of the great food we returned again, As always the cafe is usually busy around breakfast/lunch times, so if your in a group be prepared to wait for a table (not usually too long) Food is faultless and servered reasonably quickly. Would recommend full breakfast... More

Lovely, busy cafe to stop and get a bowl of soup and a coffee. The soup was amazing a huge bowl of hot Red Pepper and Basil soup too much for one! The staff are friendly and the service was quick. The only problem was that it was a little chilly.

Had the veggie breakfast here and throughly enjoyed every bite. The vegetarian haggis was also wonderful and added something a bit different to the breakfast. We also took away a brownie and huge chocolate slab full of all sorts of indulgent chocolate. Delicious! Fab little down to earth cafe.

Nice coffee and cake shop with nice breakfast. Always popular with locals and people passing. Just a nice normal café with a very friendly and helpful staff who are always busy. Well worth a stop off.

Went for breakfast with a friend, but have been several times and never had a negative experience. I'm a big cup of tea fan and the cups of tea here are brill, huge cups! Everything that I have had (usually toast) has been great. I had sausages on a ciabatta this weekend and it was delicious. My friend had eggy... More
