I went to Leith today Tuesday 19th Sept and it was the first time in years since I'd been there and I remembered a pub that was always packed, called Nobles and their food was great, so today I went in at 2:30 and the...More

Not sure what's been going on with Nobles over the past year, but has become really unpredictable whether you're going to get a good meal/service or not. Four of us went for lunch on a Saturday in August. Waited a long time to have our...More

I'm truly sorry to hear that you've had a less than perfect experience at Nobles. You have been very unfortunate to experience a laps in our extremely high standards, this by no means excuses our mistake. I am glad to hear that you where still...More

Had a very disappointing supper at Nobles tonight. Don't know if they're having a problem with kitchen staff but the food was not up to previous standards. Our fish and chips had very thick (and sometimes undercooked) batter around fish whose quality and quantity was...More

Evening meal at Nobles. A great looking pub with friendly staff and atmosphere, good beer and very good food.

Traditional pub, noisy venue with lots o character. good range of beers. Very busy at the weekend so come early if you want a seat. Local musicians and band play at regular times so this also adds to te atmosphere. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g186525-d3168495-r160389665-Nobles_Cafe_Bar_Restaurant-Edinburgh_Scotland.html#

Genuinely impressed with this place- from the beautiful interior complete with gorgeous original stained glass windows to the comfy, relaxed atmosphere, it's no wonder this place is always busy. The beetroot and veggie haggis burger is to die for and the selection of beer and...More

Hadn't been in here in years but read a good review and thought we'd give it a try. We shared the rabbit terrine (almost fighting over it) and I had the beetroot and veg haggis burger (lovely!) and partner had the pork dish. Already planning...More

The beetroot and veggie haggis burger is a total must. One of the most beautiful bars in Edinburgh, it's like an art gallery and a bar/restaurant rolled into one. Staff are consistently lovely. Girl who served is suggested a cider which was braw. Full marks!

We ate here on the recommendation of ION magazine, but were disappointed. The fish and chips was very good, but the side order of charred corn, although good, was served without any implement with which to eat it, and without a finger bowl. The crab...More
