The service was amazing, they couldn't do enough for us. The portion sizes were great. I couldn't finish my meal so they gave me takeaway tubs. Great value for money. I ordered two courses, two sides and a soft drink for £30.

Food bland no flavour what so ever, chicken wings & bbq sauce starter- wings drenched in a thick gloopy sauce - chicken strips deep fried with basil - very greasy and bland had no flavour at all, bacon tomato garlic pasta not a hint of...garlic in the dish & very little bacon, couldn't eat it, wouldn't recommend and certainly won't return. Drinks expensive. Waiter asked when clearing dishes "was it too much for you? I said no it was bland & flavourless he said ah ok do you want the desert menu - declined paid bill and left, they were totally uninterested .More

Spaghetti Carbonara was good. Spaghetti Pollo Picante was good. Salmon fillet with the blueberry and mushrooms was shocking. wouldn’t touch with a nine foot pole. I haven’t personally eaten cow pat but that is what came to mind when I had the first forkful. Do...not touch the salmon fillet with mushrooms and blueberries. But everything else was pretty decent.More

10% added to bill for a family of 4 despite menus saying “optional tip” for parties of 10. Asked the waiter, who advised that the manager has instructed them to add it to every bill, and offered to remove it. I left it on as...it looks proper cheap taking it off. If the practice is to add it to every bill, the menu should state it and the customer should be asked as the bill is being made, not put on the spot and made to feel obliged to pay it, especially as some people may not have that money spare - but rustled enough for a meal out together - be grateful those customers came to you. Food was good as was the service - poor trading practice in billing.More

Very quickly seated during a busy Saturday lunch-time service. Pizzas very good. Reasonable choice of wine by the glass and not too expensive. However, the experience was spoiled by the extremely loud music - not pleasant!. Perhaps a ploy to get people to eat up...quickly and move on?More

Excellent evening at tony macaroni. The menu is incredible and definitely represents and gives the full Italian experience you are spoilt for choice to say the least. Bruno was excellent throughout the course of our evening and made mine and my partners night go to...plan Bruno helped us a-lot as I wanted both pizza and pasta and he made sure that he could do this for me and offered me half and half which was fantastic. We also had for breadsticks just as a quick starter before our mains and we received these very efficiently The mains came very efficiently without any delay and there are no complains the food was incredible and also a massive portion which me and my partner were unable to eat so we simply had to ask Bruno for a takeaway box as would have been a shame to waste such lovely food. At the end of the night on asking for the bill I noticed at the bottom of the bill the amount says £38 without a tip and £42 with a tip I was going to leave a tip anyways without the restaurant just adding it on I would have preferred to leave a tip when leaving at the end of the night so unfortunately I paid the full £42 with no extra money to the waiter which was a bit disappointing as Bruno made sure we where well catered too throughout the evening however essentially I did because the bill was £38 and there was a £4 service charge. On leaving the restaurant we decided to go to slug and lettuce next door for a couple of drinks however we’re notified we where unable to get in due to us having takeaway food from Tony macaroni however me and my partner returned back to the restaurant asking if they can watch out food for us whilst we have a couple of drinks next door and Bruno was more than happy to help which was great. Overall very pleased and will definitely be returning as this is the best Italian me and my partner have been too I. A very long time.More
