A good Thai restaurant in the centre of Edinburgh, which has an extensive menu. We enjoyed our meal here - well prepared and presented, and with the customary Thai freshness and flavour. Service was also good, if slightly 'formal' (-: The restaurant is spacious with modern decor and, as other reviewers have identified, lacks a bit of atmosphere unless busy.... More

Enjoyed our meal here. They were. Wry accommodating for my friend who is a vegetarian. They made fried tofu with the peanut sauce for him and that was really nice.

Really good quality food in a smart restaurant, the night we went was packed with all tables reserved and we only got in without a booking due to being really early. The menu is large with lots of choice, maybe a bit too much. It's not cheap but overall good value for the quality, if a little stingy on the... More

Had a lovely meal here, food was really good beautifully presented, service was a high standard. Unfortunately we were the only people in for quite a while so not a great atmosphere.

After an unfortunate experience the night before, we discovered this Thai restaurant right in the heart of the city. The food is simply amazing and the service even better.

I went there for the first time for Valentine's day and I wasn't disappointed. Every dish was delicious and I will be definitely coming back there soon. The mango sticky rice was so tasty!

I have lived in Edinburgh for a long time and have struggled to find a good Thai restaurant. Time 4 Thai was suggested as a place to go with a big group of friends, we went in a group of 14 so between us we sampled a decent amount of their fairly sizable menu, and all of it was good,... More

Only tried the Thai red and green curries, but both were lovely. Staff very pleasant. Would go again and would recommend.

Staying in New Town

Neighbourhood Profile
New Town
Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town, until after dark when strappy dresses come out to play. This is the city’s central business district with its smaller offices, clothes boutiques, and many of the city’s flashiest restaurants and ritziest clubs. The architecture along roads like George Street helps give it a swank and formal feel: it’s a planned Georgian development of regal townhouses, geometric squares, and self-important statues. But it’s also a very wanderable neighbourhood, with a healthy bustle at almost any time of day and fine people-watching in places like St Andrew's Square which fills with picnickers around lunch. You’ll also find a series of cheerful basement bistros on Hanover Street, while dark Rose Street has something of the feel of an undiscovered back alley and is chock-full of characterful pubs and small independent shops.
