Move over, the Seafood Ristorante, The Vine Leaf, The Adamson, The Grange: you have real competition here and what is astonishing is that so few people know it. The food is deliciously fresh and local, the presentation elegant and enticing, the wine list versatile and...More

Ate in Rufflets yesterday with my elderly father and cousin. 2 of our party ordered the warm feta and roasted red pepper tart for a £10.95 main course. It was the most overpriced and unimpressive dish I have EVER eaten, as was no more than...More

We took advantage of an Itison promotion and although we have had occasions where we have not received the same level of service with this type of offer, this was certainly not the case at Rufflets. The menu offered a good choice of dishes and...More

Description
We strive to provide a range of fabulous dishes, using the best of local produce, handled with passion, care and knowledge. The elegant, relaxing and spacious 2AA Rosette Terrace Restaurant offers a seasonally changing a la carte menu. At Rufflets, we spend much time sourcing the ingredients for our menus - working with local small producers within the region, to find the very best of what is available. We are also proud to be able to boast "zero food miles" for the herbs, vegetables and soft fruits grown in our grounds. Chef David Kinnes and our gardener, Phil Harper, work together to supply the kitchen with an eclectic range of fresh produce all year round. All this effort has been recognised by VisitScotland who awarded 'Taste our Best' for use of Scotlands' Larder, presentation, quality and service standards. To complement your meal, our wonderful cellar offers an eclectic choice of wines from around the globe, including an extensive selection of half bottles and wines by the glass.
