The family took our mum out to the sisters restaurant for Mother's Day treat. As she and her sisters had been before and enjoyed it. Fiveof us ordered starter of black pudding and poached egg. Our mum had the soup. Which she enjoyed. How we wish we had got the soup. All of our starters were cold. But we just... More

I went to The Sisters with my fiancee for a pre-theatre dinner. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly at a nice table by the window. We both had the arancini starter which was really nice. My fiancee ordered the ham and I ordered the hake for mains. The ham dish was nice, although the hake tasted quite salty. Being... More

Visited here for dinner and we were a bit disappointed with the food, the starter and desserts were fine but the main course we found to be bland and nothing out of the ordinary, the restaurant was warm and cosy and the service was attentive and friendly, it was very busy on our visit and a large group was very... Booked lunch for my wife and I "on spec" whilst having a day out in Glasgow. We enjoyed a twenty five minute walk from Buchanan Galleries along a pretty grimy Sauchiehall Street until we reached the area where the restaurant is. The architecture is amazing and a pleasure to behold. The restaurant building is great. We were the first in... More

My husband & I ate here tonight & found a smart but cosy environment. The staff were professional & friendly & always helpful. One meal was not quite hot enough but apologies were given & not charged. Lovely choice of menu. We loved it & would definitely say go!

We lunched here and were impressed with the quality of the food. All my three courses were delicious and my husband was equally impressed with his food. Portions were generous and I struggled to finish my pudding. Stand out for me was the yummy bread and butter pudding with the most delicious whisky ice cream, whilst my other half rated... More

Had been meaning to go for years and finally went on Sunday Night. Lovely restaurant considering it was almost full the service was excellent. Took the option of the 3 course deal and it was excellent value. I gave to say the honeycombe pudding was delicious. Will most definitely be back

I found it quite underwhelming. Service very pleasant and friendly albeit a bit slow. The dessert of white chocolate tart with mascarpone and lime literally tasted of nothing. I think the tart case was bought in, or it was stale. Nothing really stood out for us, Maybe we just went on an off day. I was expecting an explosion of... More

Lunch with my lovely wife at a restaurant we last visited 35 years ago (when it was Greek!) and I have to say that the Sisters' classic Scottish food was great. For starters we had a black pudding fritter and soup with a delightful mini loaf. Both ideal. Our mains were flavoursome and filling: chicken stuffed with haggis; and ham,... More
