Great restaurant with a quirky menu and huge portions. Fab gluten free choices especially the cider battered haddock and chips and gluten free beer choices. Will definitely be back when we're in Glasgow and will try to save room for dessert next time!

Someone suggested the pub to me on my visit to Glasgow, and I was not disappointed. Reading the menu was half the fun! It is a quirky place with real personality but no artifice. The beef and ale pie was phenomenal and generous. On another evening I went to the tea room for high tea/dinner. The fish and chips were... More

Was invited to a retirement do here today. Room was two floors up but was OK. Buffet was basic but was OK. Service was quick

Walking around looking for somewhere to eat, the aroma hooked me - then the menu sealed the deal. Lovely quirky basement restaurant with large selection of dishes. Friendly, welcoming host. The four of us all had different meals - and all were delicious, all plates cleared. Comfortable, interesting surroundings and very reasonably priced. Would not hesitate to eat here again.

We had a birthday dinner for friends 50th. 7 of us had food and drinks and the food was excellent. However when bill came it was £297 and my daughter thought that seemed quite expensive as we only had mains. Going through bill we seen we had been charged £88.95 for a main meal so queried this and was told... More

Walking early in the morning cold and wet from the rain we finally found this Gem of a breakfast spot. Our waitress could not have been more perfect, such a delight. The breakfast selection was delicious and the coffee top notch.

We revisted the Butterfly and Pig again as we all enjoyed the previous experience. The tearoom is styled in an old-fashioned way with tables and chairs of a bygone age. The crockery used is traditional cups and saucers. Four of us had the usual fruit scones but one had scrambled eggs and toast as she had not eaten since breakfast,... More

This has to be my favourite restaurant in Glasgow. It is worth going there just to read the menu which is very quirky and funny. The food is delicious too. There is a good range of different types of food. They cater for vegetarians and vegans. The prices are reasonable and the portions are very generous. I usually can only... More
