The prices of food options at this cafe are very good, especially given the generous portion sizes. Really delicious fresh food, plus the staff are friendly and helpful.

This summer we spent a week in glasgow and were very close to this small cafe. The staff is amazing, friendly and made each and every visit homely and welcome. Coffee is great - just what we needed to kickstart the day.

We had a fantastic breakfast at the North Star. The staff were brilliant, very cheery and smiley, the place was packed, the cafe was buzzing. But, above all, my full English - or Scottish! - breakfast was the best I've ever had.

We just popped in for a coffee while in the area but decide to have a late lunch instead. We ordered coffees, sandwiches, and frittatta. All were beautifully presented with "real chicken" in the sandwich on lovely thick bread. Portions of frittatta were large and perhaps more potato and less egg than I was expecting. It is small and a... More

Lovely wee place. Friendly, helpful staff. Good selection of beautifully made cakes. Good coffee and lunches smelled amazing!! Only complaint was the lack of toilet facilities and the smallness!! Upsize!!??

Staff here are fantastic. Most welcoming cafe in Glasgow (with Smile Cafe). Coffee is fantastic (coming from someone who worked in a coffee shop) much better than the chains. Food is fab with authentic Italian food and wonderful ciabatta or focaccia sandwiches. Has become my regular haunt.
