Went with my family for dinner. Restaurant is quite small. Best to ask for a table upstairs for a bit more room. Service was fantastic and staff explained items on menu and made great suggestions. Food was delicious and very fresh. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend. We had scallops, clam chowder, langoustines, crab cakes, monkfish and white... More

Went here when I was in Glasgow for one night with my cousin and we very much enjoyed the whole experience. My cousin tries to avoid gluten for health reasons meaning when the waitress greeted us she tried to explain to us what on the menu didn't contain gluten. It turned out that basically, the starters were mainly free from... More

Popped in here on Thursday , was taken upstairs sat at large wooden table ... which we initially like the look of rather than being cramped at the small tables downstairs . We had whole lemon sole which was lovely , large scallops and bisque ... all very nice but was rather put off by the amount of flies flying... More

We needed a seafood fix and went in search of the Crabshakk. I thought the area was a bit run down and scary, with a number of "odd" characters hanging about, - not the most salubrious. The Crabshakk's external appearance did not fill me with much enthusiasm either - a bit nondescript. Inside is all rather cramped with a "bar/servery"... More

Myself and my son visit here when we need a seafood fix . Our favourite is the mussels in white wine which we share as a starter . We have never had mussels as good as this . The food and service is fantastic . The only down side is the rather cramped seating area . On our last visit... More

Menu has full array of different seafood options. Specials menu frequently changes with never disappointing options. Always go for the queenies(small scallops) and full crab to share. Every experience here different than the last. Great atmosphere at the epicentre of finnieston. Staff always friendly and forthcoming to explain the specials. Perfect spot for a meal if visiting for a weekend.... More

it is a bit small and awkward to sit at times, but that is part of its character. great food, great service, great atmosphere. you can tell it's somewhere that cheers people up as soon as they walk in. best manager in town.

Sat at the bar for a leisurely lunch. One of our orders was mistransmitted, causing a delay between starter and main. Although this was no great problem, we received a delicious complimentary bowl of scallops while we waited. All dishes were extremely good, as was the friendly service.

Ate here with my sons today. There was an interesting selection of seafood offered from the inexpensive to the rather more so. I really enjoyed it and so did my sons.

Had lunch here on a Saturday. Welcoming knowledgeable staff and prompt service. Starters of Salt and Pepper Squid & Crabshakk Bisque were both amazing. Main of Vongole was very tasty and the whole Dover sole with brown shrimp was declared delicious. Lovely bottle of Sauvignon blanc. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.
