Like other reviews when I walked up and saw the place I thought I had made a mistake and it was just another pub with some tables spread around but how wrong was that assumption! The staff were incredibly friendly and the girl serving was just terrific, food was delicious and it was just a great evening all round, would... More

Just been there for a late lunch with close family. Haven't been before - but definitely will be going back. Food was really very good and competitively priced - and the service was brilliant! They could not do enough for us. The music was good, loud enough to enjoy but not too loud to spoil conversation. The menu choice was... More

That's what they say !! Heading towards Bacchus from the nearby George Square you can't help but be disappointed by its location. Surrounded by flash buildings, some of Glasgow's finest. Bacchus looks sad and neglected. So you can imagine how surprised Terry and I were with this place once we stepped inside. Friendly, helpful attentive staff and really, really amazing... More

Visited on a Sunday afternoon with my wife and we were not disappointed. The food service and atmosphere were excellent and the acoustic session went down a treat. Will definitely be back. Get the flour tortilla nachos to start, they're brilliant.

We were out in town to see the Christmas lights and was looking to go somewhere for lunch. We seen Bacchus and thought we would give it a go! The service when we went in was fantastic and the food was to die for. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a place to go for lunch or dinner to... More

Popped in here for a bite to eat with my partner and mum. We initially sat by the door but it was cold so decided to move to the back of the room. Asked by a male member of staff (possibly manager) if everything was ok. Both my partner and I ordered macaroni cheese, although it was nice it was... More

We dined here on Thursday 17th November. Been in a good few times already. The staff here are very good at their job and the service was prompt and friendly. We opted for the chilli nachos as a starter and they were delicious. We chose the macaroni for our main course. We asked the waitress if we could have it... More

A fairly nice wee place which serves traditional pub type food at low cost. The nachos here are amazing. Proper fried tortilla with lashing's of everything. Yummers

Big blister(sister) and I found this wee treasure and had a lovely dinner here. I had tomato and mozzarella starter, she had haggis. I had hoisin beef for my main course and sis had fish and chips. It was delicious, 10/10 for food, service and lovely clean toilets too! Fresh flowers were a lovely touch. We will definitely be back... More

I went with my wife for a bit of lunch. The food was really tasty and great value for money. We shall be back next time we are in town.
