Steak was a let down, unevenly cooked rare at one end and medium at the other and very chewy with hard bits of fat. Service was slow. Dessert bland and nothing special. Onion rings were the best thing about the whole meal! Better places to...More

My boyfriend and I went for dinner here last week having bought an itison voucher for chateaubriand and prosecco for 2, which at £39 was definitely an amazing deal. Being a student it's not often that I eat in high-end places so I was very...More

Enjoyed a very nice meal form Market menu. Stornoway black pudding and poached egg was excellent in the starters range. Mains of trout and pan-fried chicken were tasty and we're good portions, although when they arrived I felt they were small - they weren't! Nice...More

a reasonably good night out but the restaurant lacks just a little something to get it to a 5 rating. Initially I thought the lighting was poor, and as we walked in we got sight of a storage access and all the crud that you...More

Visited using a Groupon voucher for mixed grill land cocktails. This was great value. We ordered some started which were average priced and also very nice. The mixed grill was well presented and the cocktails delicious. I had two as my husband was driving. The...More

Not the most exciting food I've eaten. Chose from market menu, chicken was a little pink, cheese selection had been standing too long and the cheese was hard. Staff a bit lacking in initiative but friendly. Just not living up to the ambiance it is...More

Came with an itison voucher for Chateaubriand and tiger prawns. Tiger prawns weren't tiger prawns but bog standard and were pretty tasteless. Ordered the meat medium rare and it came medium (at least), and didn't taste particularly special either. A some total of two small...More

We had a really fantastic meal with everyone's opting for the surf & turf, each steak was cooked perfectly and to individual requirements. Great variety of tasty sides, and reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and quick, attentive service. Will be coming back!

This place has slipped considerably since my last visit. We found the restaurant very empty at 2'30 on Sunday and the staff quite awkward although friendly enough, drinks service slow and overall disconnected. The roast beef is served medium well, despite asking for medium rare...More

Description
Scottish farmers are known the world over for their dedication to The Cause and their consistently high-standards. That’s why you’ll find that almost everything on our menu was either reared here, harvested here or was landed right here on the shores of Scotland. Our approach to cooking is typically no-nonsense too; we source the finest ingredients like 28-day hung Scotch beef and seafoods from local waters, add a little flair and influence from the Auld Alliance and simply let the food do the talking. We think you’ll love the Bo’Vine difference!
