I have been here a few times and I would 100% recommend it. One of the best restaurants in Glasgow. Fantastic menu and high quality of food. I feel the menu would suit different pallets, which is difficult to find in a high quality menu. The food portions are huge but it is definitely worth saving room for dessert because... More

I treated my partner to birthday dinner and we were not disappointed! We had tried to book a few times but were unlucky. Finally we managed and could not believe the huge choice on the menu. I had black pudding starter followed by sea bass and my partner had scallops, pork belly and a trio of puddings. Staff were lovely... More

I booked a table for my husband's birthday and am so glad I did. The staff were wonderful, the food was delicious and the surroundings were cosy. The portions are huge, but the waitresses told us that they would do smaller portions for our 2 children. When it came to the bill, we saw that not only were the portions... More

I've eaten at Blacksheep on many occasions and I've never once been disappointed. The venue is a small, family owner run restaurant that doesn't try to be pretentious and offers traditional Scottish meals that are cooked to perfection. All of the dishes are good but one in particular, the Balmoral chicken is profoundly delicious. In my opinion, you'd be very... More

Managed to get a booking at this small bistro after many tries. It only has around 12 tables or so and not in a central location but the staff are very welcoming, so well worth a visit. The food is really quod quality and cooked to perfection. The starter prices are around £4.95 and mains between £10.00 - £18.00. If... More

I went to the Black Sheep Bistro while in Glasgow for business… and I’m happy to say that it was the highlight of my 3 days in Scotland. First off: the service is just perfect, friendly, prompt, faultless – I can even go an extra step saying that they VERY kindly and generously sent me my scarf back via post... More

Fantastic meal with family. Scallops with blackpudding to start followed by beef Wellington. Well cooked and delicious. The range of deserts was impressive finished us off nicely. We could barely move from our seats when it was over. Be back soon

4 of us went here for dinner drinks. The menu is fairly varied but pretty expensive - I had haggis, neeps and tatties - very filling but at £12/13 too expensive I thought. Others had a variety of salads and seafood , which looked good. Very few tables on at time we were there - 6.30pm on a Friday &... More

This is becoming my favourite place to eat. We had a 6:30 pm reservation, it's a busy wee place so you have to book well in advance. It's cozy and welcoming; and the staff are lovely. My partner had prawn cocktail and balmoral chicken, I had crab cakes and pesto haddock. All were delicious. We had coffee and soft drinks.... More

We were lucky to get a table for 4 at short notice for this hidden gem! Nestled away from the busy west end, it offers a fantastic alternative to the overdressed, disappointing eateries we have suffered. The food from starter to desserts were both truelly home cooked and delicious! Everyone of our party were delighted by the choice & taste,... More
