Yep, it's as good as everyone says, great food and what I would say is a bargain price, the meat is excellent, the stews are sublime, the bread is to die for, the salads are fresh and the rice is light fluffy and everything I can never achieve when cooking at home. Genuine, home made, tasty and fresh. We love... More

I have been to the Babylon Cafe multiple times and it is always the same experience, firstly the food is always excellent and the naan bread and rice are the best in Glasgow, the only thing that lets this place down is the service, it is often slow or non existent and quite frequently the wrong order will arrive, do... Went here a few weeks ago last minute decision. Read the reviews a few times but wasn't put off, as I've walked past this place a few too times and the BBQ smell under the bridge is just lush so had to give it a try! Parking can be a bit tedious if you're visiting before 6 pm Mon-Sat and... More

The name of the resturaunt gives it all away. A traditional middle eastern (Iraqi) cusine. We were visiting from Manchester and it was a recommendation from a friend. It was a blood good recommendation. The food was lovely and priced appropriately. It was a down to earth family and child friendly place. We were served by the male waiters, they... More

Never judge a book by its cover... Babylon doesn't look much from the outside. And it isn't in the nicest of areas of Glasgow. And inside isn't pushing the boundaries of style inside. But, you have to go! The food is phenomenal ! Some of the tastiest food I've had in many a long time and incredibly reasonably priced. They... More

About downsides first... ambience not great and location not so perfect. But if that be the reason not to walk in, you are missing, one of the best kebabs of Glasgow. Alcoholic drinks not served but you can quench your thirst with Asian buttermilk.

The worst restaurant I have ever been to! Arrive excited and hungry and I had heard so much about the food! At first we stood for 10 mins looking for eye contact to be seated. Then finally a waitress came over saying "no tables no tables" I laughed and pointed at many empty tables and she replied with "these are... More

My husband has visited the cafe on a few occasions but this was my first visit. From the outside it looks very unappealing and had it not been for my hubby to say try it I probably wouldn't have gone in. Theres almost like a takeaway section at the front and seating through the back. The decor could be from... More
