My husband had the fat porker which was burger and pulled pork with cheese etc. I had the godfather which was burger another mini spiced burger huge onions rings etc. Both served with excellent hand made chips. A cocktail each all for £25 as it was 2 for 1 on burgers. One of the best burgers ever eaten it was... More

Table booked for 6pm through the 5pm website. The place was busy (always a good sign) we were taken to our table straight away. They had a set menu, 2 course for £11.95 & 3 course for £14.95 & an al a carte menu The west coast mussels were to die for. My only gripe was we never got a... More

Enjoyed a 2 course meal here with a friend prior to going to show in the King's theatre. Quiet atmosphere in pleasant surroundings with excellent choice of food Service was good and we were free to sit and chat while we passed the time before our show

Myself and my fiancée decided to get an itison deal and decided on palomino and we weren't disappointed. When we walked in we thought it was more like a pub but we sat down and ordered our cocktails (I asked for something that wasn't on their menu and they were happy to make it) All in all the food was... I have been coming here fairly regularly since back when it used to be called The Pony and it has always been a favourite haunt. As it's a little bit away from the main hustle and bustle of the Bath St party zone, it tends to be a little bit quieter, which is part of what I love about it.... More

Our friend had her 40th party in the function room so we decided to eat upstairs beforehand. We all skipped starters and just had mains. I had the pasta pescatore which was mainly mussel with a few prawns and less squid/calamari. It was very tasty though. The burgers and chicken supreme all around were good too. Reasonably priced and friendly... More

Popped in for food before an evening show at the King's Theatre. Arrived at 6pm and specifically told the sole staff member of ordering that our show started at 7pm. Order arrived at 6.45. Food was good but I wouldn't advise going along before the theatre. Shortage of staff.

The food was lovely. Good choice and value. Service was great. However, the toilets were smelly, dirty and disgusting. Did contact the restaurant directly and they said it was a one off. However, I looked at other reviews and there were a number of comments about the unhygeanic toilets. It is such a shame that something so simple is the... More

I have never been to a restaurant and felt sorry for one member of staff. She kept saying how busy they were - I only seen four tables at once. The order was taken wrong -there were no pork chops! Than the main course came cold - I mean cold - not eatable cold - we sent it back. It... More

The food here was very nice and reasonably priced. Ate here on a quiet Monday night - just missed the pre theatre crowd and enjoyed my meal! I had the palomino burger and it was delicious, followed by an equally delicious homemade orange cheesecake! Restaurant is also part of the gormet society so we received a great discount!
