Visited with a friend for a quick tea. Lovely staff and great menu. Both had the classic ‘78 burger, it was really good and the chips were brilliant too. The only thing that lets the place down is the toilets....they’re pretty grim, but I’ll definitely...More

Stopped by vegan pub The 78 for lunch on a weekday. We were visiting Glasgow from the U.S. and were treated to--no joke--one of the tastiest burgers I've ever had. I think they might put mustard seeds in the patty because there was a satisfying...More

Nice staff, nice food. Horrid draft cola. The restaurant was freezing, the Waiter apologised for this which we appreciated. We drove 120miles there and back for lunch so we were really disappointed-mostly at the venue. Looked unclean and as I said very cold. Toilets were...More

Such a lively place with people standing at the bar listening to the music and others sitting having their food. We tried the whole menu and everyone was happy! The flavours were full and original. Our dog had a great time too.

I have been here about 10000 times the 10 years I have lived in Glasgow. However, the waitress was sooo rude to me towards the end of August when I visited. I have worked as a waitress for years and I know customers can be...More

We used to come here often but the last 2 visits the service has been horrendous. We aren’t fussy but have left feeling robbed as they messed up the order then blamed us for not asking for our starter before our main. Then got total...More

Came here on Saturday afternoon for food. Sat down outside as it was a nice day at a dirty table with glasses, expecting them to be cleared away. My boyfriend and I both thought the burger and a pint for £7.95 was a good deal...More

After a very busy day, we needed to eat and relax a little, so popped into 78. Food options and quality are really good and there is a 'happening' atmosphere which is positive and uplifting - what am I saying?! Well, it's just very, very...More

Tasty vegan food, decent portions. We both had burgers, very flavoursome and chips were great too. Service a little on the slow side but staff were friendly.

My daughter and I had lovely, reasonably priced vegan food with coffee and cake. The service was good, and we enjoyed the ambience

Just called them. They don't have a ramp, but they do have a disabled toilet. Apparently they've had people with wheelchairs in before despite the small step at the main entrance. Having been there myself many times, I'd say... More

A heart warming little bar and restaurant in Glasgow's famed Finnieston. All our food and drink is free from any animal produce.
