Regular visitor to this pub when in Glasgow, normally spot on, however today unable to take any food orders between 11:30 and 12:15, 'as they had been busy'. Had to close breakfasts early and delay lunch orders. 45 minutes we had to wait to place a food order and we had a train to catch. Other than cheap and cheerful... More

Usually our first stop on route to our 'sub crawl' The Royal Scot is a decent pub where you can watch the waifs and strays of Glasgow getting tanked up. This visit we had a couple of drinks before heading out to the West End. Place was mobbed on a Saturday lunch time, Toilets where rank.

I have always used the Royal Scot when I've been to Glasgow. When I go to Glasgow I always make the effort to go there. The staff are friendly and helpful and quick behind the bar, there's always a great atmosphere in there. The price of drinks are cheap and the beers alway taste good. I highly recommend going in... A Big pub with up and down stairs seating. Relatively cheap food from breakfast till late. Lots of tvs showing sports. Quite reasonably priced drinks compared to other nearby venues. Friendly staff.

Hi Tigerti, First of all an apology but I will try to explain what has happened... We do have an offer on Doubles that runs daily that makes the Double Smirnoff Vodka and Pepsi or other draught mixers (and some bottles ie tonic) £4.05. This offer is on most of our basic spirits like Gordons, Bells etc. We also have... More

Waited over an hour for a toastie and 3 bowls of soup. One of which didn't arrive. Apparently we weren't charged for it so tough. Sorry he said and wandered off.

Had family visiting from Wales and decided to go in here for lunch last Tuesday. After eventually finding a table that was half decent and moving dirty dishes we went to bar to order. The member of staff was very nice and took our orders half an hour waiting and still no food after about another 10 minutes food arrived,... More

I visited here on Monday 10th October. . When we arrived there were no seats available but we were approached by a waitress who said she would get a table sorted for us as there were five of us plus a baby... We were seated through the back bit with a nice big table.. plenty of room. The kind lady... More
