Quirky place, nice lunch and friendly staff. We didn't have any cakes but they looked amazing . Look forward to trying some the next time.

I've been going around a lot of the cafes recently in Glasgow trying to find a new place to call home. I think I've found it. Once Upon a Tart is heaven. So much tea and so many cakes. The place has a charm that no where else in Glasgow seems to have, it's like hanging out in a friends... More

Having eaten here previously, decided to go in for Mother's Day lunch. We waited 15 minutes before we were approached re an order. My cup of tea was far too full and when it was put down was spilled and all I got from the waitress was'oops'. It took 20 more minutes for my husband and son to get their... More

The workers in this establishment were rude to me and my friends. A young woman had just started the job and another worker was rolling her eyes at her. They were very blunt when we came to pay.

I've eaten lunch here with colleagues before and it was lovely so returned with my mother and dog. Yes, a dog friendly cafe in the city centre! Such a cool wee place, quirky and kitsch but not super trendy just a nice place to relax, chat and eat. The cakes are the star attraction though. Home baking, amazing choice. I... More

Smashing service and red Thai soup was beautiful. Lots of cakes to choose from and the decor is unusual and the place is always busy. Good for coffee and a cake and a chat.

We were looking for somewhere else entirely when we walked past and were intrigued by the decor and cakes. Glad we found it.

A group of 6 of us booked in this afternoon. Five of us opted for the afternoon tea and one person ordered mac and cheese and a delicious cake. The spread for the afternoon tea was delicious and we probably ate about 50% of the food that was served to us. This meant we got a brucey bonus and were... More
