The Fish People cafe has become our special occasion restaurant in Glasgow. The drinks at the bar while waiting for a table are always good, the fish stew ,oysters ,mussels are handled well by the kitchen. The staff are always responsive and willing to help .doing a fish and chips for an elderly guest. My only complaint was Prosecco was only... More

Ate here at lunchtime on Christmas Eve. This was probably the best seafood I've had in Glasgow, very fresh and tasty, reasonably priced and served by efficient and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

My partner and I had been in search of somewhere I could get Cullen skink soup. We went for a late lunch. Due to its interesting position I wasn't expecting the French bistro interior. The food and the service were top notch. They have a set and Al la carte menu. We were stoked when we could order off both.... More

Start with a great fishmonger in an urban wilderness next to a tube station. Build a beautiful small restaurant that feels like it could be on a posh cruise liner. Add a brilliant and consistent kitchen who make some classic and some really interesting dishes. And then hire really nice waiting staff who are the perfect balance between the formal... More

The menu was varied and choice excellent, the two course set lunch was excellent value for money. The fish was very fresh and the accompanying sauce perfect. We had the haddock. The accompanying French fries or chips were spiced which was not totally to my taste but they were very good quality and I had no problem eating them. The... More

Tried this restaurant for lunch for the first time. The quality and presentation of the dishes are excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. The portions are not huge but certainly adequate for lunch and were overall good value. The ambience and service were also very good. Would definitely come back.

Unexpected fish restaurant beside the Metro station. Tasty main courses and delicious desserts. Low lighing was it bit too romantic but still ok.

A small restaurant, built onto the side of a multi storey car park! An unlikely setting for good fish perhaps but don't let that put you off! We visited at lunch time last Tuesday, the restaurant wasn't busy so service was good (I should add, even if busy the service is still good). There is a set menu as well... More

Tremendous service from the moment of opening the door to leaving. Wonderful food taking great ingredients and taking them to a new level. Superb ambience. My husband and I have decided that this has to become a once a month treat.
