I had the misfortune of having a days work in Braehead and had to engage with the staff behind the bar alongside a few colleagues of mine on Saturday. Wow, within seconds we where being shouted at. I am a grown man in his forties...and I have NEVER had anyone dare to speak to me in the tone these absolute imbeciles thought was appropriate. They must hate their jobs and lives to project such nasty inconsiderate responses to people just trying to do a job. I left the job immediately after partly due to not wanting to deal with Bar Varia again. They should all be sacked.More

Terrible, over-priced microwave "food", sloppy and slow staff, terrible tasting wine - avoid this place and head to one of the other restaurants in the centre.

We had seen mixed reviews before eating here. £28 for the pictured food and a half of beer and a j2o, bit steep. We waited for 25 minutes before prompting a wandering member of staff to see if our food was ready. It was the...brought to us fairly quickly after this. The food quality was poor to say the very least. It’s a nice place for the decor/view of the ski slope, nice to have a drink. This is definitely not a restaurant, more of a rip off Wetherspoon. The food is nothing like expected, very poor quality, very poor service, definitely only German for decor, not the food.More

Customer service was non existent, £10 for a frozen burger that was lukewarm at best, no cutlery available once food arrived, no staff member checked to see if everything was alright just to highlight a few misgivings.

Pretty much the worst place I’ve ever eaten. Decided we’d go here on before a hockey game, waited ages at the not very busy bar, flew on my bum because the floor was dirty spilling my beer all over me. Went back to the bar...to get my beer replaced and waited 15 mins at the not busy bar while the super under qualified staff clueless tried to work the till. Food came out and buns were burnt in both, they graciously replaced just the buns. FarceMore

4 of us went for food in the bar, some nice vegan and veggie options on the menu, I tried out the spicy bean burger 👌. Jamie was our host, well looked after, he has a very pleasant manner. He took us down to the...ice bar, had the place to our selfs and Jamie made us some nice cocktails. Good nightMore

Visited the ice bar on saturday night. Spent an hour there and had dinner before it. Dinner was decent enough. Everyone was happy. Jamie was our host and looked after us great. He set up the ice bar downstairs and looked after us from start...to finish. Top man and great bar tender. Drinks were superb. Would recommend to allMore

Went into there two weeks ago with my friend,on sat afternoon took about half an hour to get two drinks, there was only one person serving and they were in no hurry, the queue was really bad, people were sliding on the floor as they all still had...boots on which were covered in snow ,( never used to let them wear there snow boots on the wooden floors I’m sure.?)another bar guy arrived and started to help and if it wasn’t for him telling folk who came up to his till that they need to join the long queue it would have been chaos, anyway we didn’t stay for another drink or food ,queue was still bad,Was in soar again on sat with adult son and we visited it again he wanted to have a pint,I warned him lol, anyway we got a seat ok he went up to bar, there wasn’t a long queue but he came back with our drinks 15 min later ,his first words were ,what the heck was that all about ,they are soo slow ,maybe he will listen to me next time, obviously they need more staff on sat afternoons, love watching the snowboarders etc but won’t be staying for drinksMore

With 38 children and 5 adults in attendance, the staff team were brilliant at attending to our needs. Thanks to Ciaran, Margie and Susan for making the experience go so smoothly.
