Great atmosphere in this place, fast service even when its busy before a gig in the theatre. Ideally located for the theatre. Only downside for me on a personal note, doesn't sell Smirnoff. Still well worth a visit.

We stopped here for lunch and as two of the party have an allergy to eggs, the lady serving us went to the kitchen to get a list of all the food we could eat. This was very helpful as it made the decision of what to eat easier. The soup was very tasty and the nachos were good. The... More

Popped in because it was pouring of rain - I was served reasonably quickly. Atmospherically it was decent, decor decent, and clean.

We visited here on a cvoucher deal and weren't disappointed. The Griffin is a bit of a Glasgow institution and there is a great buzz about the place. called in for a drink on our way back to our hotel, typical old Glasgow pub, quiet with a good range of wines and beers on offer, had a warm welcome here

Had fab lunch today service was brill food fab plus a drink 6 per person can't wait to return good quality food burgers are fab sweet potatoes taco so tasty banana pavlova well worth it see you soon it was great

Had a weekend in Glasgow in February luckily our hotel was just a short walk from this great bar, very welcoming, nice staff. Drinks were very reasonably priced.
